Laurence is a graduate of a Bachelor's degree in software engineering (B.Ing) of the École de technologie supérieure, a DEC in computer technology management and a diploma in professional music and song techniques. Having actively participated in the creation of university mobile ÉTSMobile, Laurence also acted as a mobile developer for Summit-Tech, for Solutions medias 360, for Bell Canada and for Busbud.

Laurence was captain of a student club in mobile engineering that is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the mobile university application of École de technologie supérieure. This task has allowed her to develop skills management and leadership in the field of computing.
With a history different from other mobile developers, Laurence has a creative profile, passionate in innovation and the creation of applications. In addition, her training allows her to have the entire view of distributed architectures. She can therefore develop as the "backend" that the "frontend" of an application.
Laurence is heavily involved in mobile and IT community. She has created a mobile interuniversity competition to encourage people to form in this area. She has also given several lectures on mobile technologies, including one at the international conference in Montreal Droidcon. She is also involved in the consolidation Women Techmakers to encourage women to enter the field of computing.
